Wife: No. They also
have the best equipment in the town for this treatment.
Husband: But in a
government hospital?
Wife: Yes. My friend
works there and she said that the cost for treatment would be much lesser.
Husband: Are you sure
?
Wife: Trust me
everything will be fine. This is just a small sacrifice looking at our
condition. The same treatment will cost around 60000 in a private hospital.
Husband: I want you to
be fine. I'll manage anyhow.
Wife: Don't worry I
said. I am going to be fine and we will go out once I get healed.
Husband: Surely, we
will go to your favorite place.
Then they go to the
hospital the same afternoon and the wife gets admitted.
Next day.
Husband: Good morning.
How are you doing? Placing hand on her forehead.
Wife:..................
Husband: I've got
juice for you, tea is not allowed. I'll pour it for you.
Wife:..................
Husband: Don't you
want to have tea?
Wife:......................
Doctor: (Placing his
hand on his shoulder). Your wife is no more. We tried to save her but couldn't
stop her bleeding. There was no electricity and our equipment stopped working.
Husband: (Now he feels
that her forehead was actually cold).
This was her sacrifice.
Every Indian
government hospital repeat these kind of stories. Improper healthcare system
leads to this kind of incident. Private hospitals are all money making machine.
Poor people couldn't afford and what they can afford is worthless healthcare.

That is really sad
ReplyDeleteI agree and I feel bad about it too.
